Medium / Liner

The sizing and fit is disappointing. I am 6ft and 160lbs. I wear a small in most joggers but went with a medium based on the fact that I couldn’t return them. The waste is too big (other style same size the waste was too tight) and the length is too long. How can the same company and size fit so differently? The quality seems good but I feel like these are overpriced compared to other brands (Nike, Adidas, Mountain Hardware).
