Liner inhibits walk mode

Unlike my last pair of MTB’s, the liner on these boots wraps all the way around my calf, so the walk mode collar on the shell is useless (the liner is now the limiting factor). Moreover, the new liner is a bit looser, so these boots will probably be too loose once they pack out a bit (I ordered the same size as last time). On the plus side, the boa’s allowed me to tighten down the boot more and they feel super responsive edge to edge.

Great Stiff Boot

I have been on a search for a comfortable stiff boot. I have previously owned Nike and Adidas and they both got out of the game. Jones MTB is super stiff. Probably the stiffest boot I have ridden. They work great for uphill on touring days. Love them for side country hikes. Break in after about 2 days of riding on them. Feel great.
