Really nice but the lids can be a challenge

We replaced all of our plastic containers with a mix of these and other glass containers. We love these. They feel substantial and store leftovers just like we want. We do find the lids a bit of a struggle to remove straight out of the fridge. On the plus side, they seal up great.

Love the color and what it's made out of BUT

I have made another review on a different size storage container complaining about trying to get the lid off especially after putting warm food in it. It was impossible for me to do it, could not even lift the lid enough to break the seal so that it would open. My husband had to work at it pretty hard to get it to come off. Caraway Team replied to my review sending me a Youtube video which did not help and told me I need to lift the lid a little to break the seal. I wish I had a video of me and my husband trying to get the lid off. Oh and also I could not pull the gray strap tight enough to get it to close. You need to have super strong hands. One other thing, the gas is kind of a slippery material - not sure how to explain this better. I would make the outsides a little textured so they won't slip out of your hands so much. I would not buy these again because of this issue. I will use them for storage using plastic wrap for a lid. The lids need to be deeper so you can get your fingers in the edges to lift them enough to break the seal - a redesign for sure!
