Ace ‘em Pleated Skort - Sugar
I bought this skort when it was on sale. I actually had immediate buyer's regret because the white skort that I had actually wanted was out of stock, and I wasn't as attracted to the design of this one. (Especially since I wanted something WHITE to easily match with my other clothes/activewear, whereas this definitely is off-white.) However, once I actually tried it on, I actually thought it looked more flattering than it did in the photos. Looking at all the other reviews, I sized down and got it in XXS to make sure the waist part would fit properly. I am 5'3 with a 25" waist, and while the XXS was perfect for my waist size, the shorts underneath are uncomfortably tight. I have this same issue with all popflex bottoms that have the wide, elastic waistband like the cloud sweatpants and the super shorts. (Which I still find weird considering I have no butt, so it is strange to me that something that can fit my waist wouldn't also fit my non-existent butt.) But ignoring comfort, the skort does look great on me.
This is very lightweight and cute. I love it a lot, it’s not high waisted as much as the pirouette skirt, but that’s obvious from photos. It’ll take some getting used to in terms of how I look in them. I’m excited to pair it with cute outfits for school though!
Size a tad too big!
This is my first skort purchase and went for medium because that's what I bought in the past for leggings and booty shorts. This was a tad too big. Not easi noticeable but I can side my finger under the waistband without tugging on it. I'm 5' 2" currently 133 lbs but my weight fluctuates between 128 and 133 lbs so I suspect it'll be worse. Moreover, these type of waistbands tend to stretch a little with use so I suspect this may have a similar issue. It'll be cute once it fits right. This is the third item I've purchased in my usual popflex size that runs big and it's always issues with the bottoms. Below, comparison in waistbands from the 3 different styles I purchased
