I wish the pom-pom covers were sewn better. It seems a single running stitch is used to secure the fleece cover. My cat is quite adept at ripping this stitch so the cover falls off. Then the cat or dogs eat the stuffing that hangs exposed. Also, the bell falls off, posing a choking hazard. I have learned to reinforce the sewing myself with button twill and lots of knots to prevent the problem. On the plus side, the balls are replaceable and not expensive. I love that Mau designs their cat trees so all components are replaceable! Also, our kitty loves playing with the dangling balls!!!

I can replace them when my cat plays with the old ones until they fall off
