I love this so much that I got it in tan as well as black! I sized up (typically a S but got a M) so that it would be slouchy and there would be room to put sweaters underneath it. The S would have looked more sleek however. It's great for wearing around the house as well as out. Easy to throw on and is a great layer to have.

Love this sweater coat!

My husband bought this sweater coat for me as a gift. I find that I wear it everywhere. It's a nice wool blend and substantially thick that I can pull it on during chilly weather when I'm getting in and out of the car running errands. I fabric is so soft and warm. I wear it on airplanes and it keeps me cozy even when the plane temp is freezing! It's like wearing a blanket, only much classier! I also love the deep pockets!

Consider sizing down. Great for tallies like me!

Size down. This is a perfect length on my long limbs and tall body. I would wear it every day during the winter if I could! I have a similar sweater from Athleta, in which I took a Large. I bought Medium in this sweater and it fit just the way I wanted. 38C, size 12 jeans. Highly recommended for tall ladies.
