Excellent fit, great for Strats

Not all Strat and Strat-style necks are the same width and nut slot dimensions. It's important to measure the original nut and slot, then shop Graphtech for the proper size. I did just that and this nut was nearly a drop in fit. Only had to reduce the height a tiny bit; otherwise, it fit perfectly. Our shop always recommends Graphtech nuts and saddles because we believe their quality is unmatched by bone.

It's kind of shocking how much this affects tuning stability (for the better). I'm sure there are other good guitar nuts out there, but I'm thinking TUSQ XL nuts are the closest thing I'll ever get to 'guaranteed good'. I own a nut and saddle sanding tool, so shaving to size was very easy. Can't wait until I need another one :-p
