This is my second Les Paul I have swapped out the bone nut with the Tusq nut . The harmonics ring out on chords and the open strings just sing like never before.

This was my first nut replacement. The material is so clearly better than the cheap thing I had to pull out in pieces. A little shaping of the bottom and a thin shim (needed only because of the difficulty/damage of removing the old one) and I have a much better nut.
