Skip this rug
The thing I love about this rug is the design and color. However, what I dislike about this rug after having it is the color. This rug gets dirty as soon as it's laid down and we are a family that doesn't wear shoes in the house. Plan on having to wash it at least once a week and I'm not sure if there is a defect in the rig, but you have to wash it twice (back to back) for it to actually get clean. I would not recommend this rug for a kitchen or anyone that has any type of foot traffic. I have two other ruggable runner rugs and have not had any issues with my other two; one was cream with skeletons and showed less dirt than this rug.
