Helpful but not necessary…

I don’t always use the activator. I think it does help with longevity of the color but not by a huge margin. When I use it, I typically spray it on a cotton pad and then wipe the blue off but most times I just slightly moistened (with water) a cotton pad to wipe the blue off.

I don’t like that it is a spray, but it helps to not have to wait to take the blue stuff off. I usually just spray a little on my finger and lightly pat it on, then I can get longer lasting color when I wipe it off.

This is a good product.

This is a good product. It doesn't make the stain come off in sheets like the ads show, at least not for me, but it tastes and smells nice so it doesn't seem toxic if you accidentally get it in your mouth. I feel like the spray mister could be finer so you only had to pump once to feel like you cover your whole lips. if you over saturate you can make the stain run. but the color does last so this product does work.
