I was looking for a bonafide light rain jacket with lining that was also quiet for stand hunting and use around town. I have extensive familiarity with Kuiu, Badlands and First Lite. The M7's arrival coincided with a downpour here in WNC. I literally stood outside on the deck for 30 minutes in the rain. The jacket worked flawless in shedding rain and with a merino long sleeve base layer, kept me comfortable in 48° temp. My only issue. . . and this is a first world problem, my iPhone Pro Max won't fit in the chest pockets. Like I said, first world problem.
