I was first introduced to Castle Arts Gold colored pencil edition. I immediately fell in love with my first creation and the pencils. I went bezerk and bought the metallic pencils, watercolor pens, watercolor pencils and paints. Made my second castle art creation and I am very pleased with it. I have many more sketches and now I’m excited to try the pastel colored pencils 😄😄

The colors are lovely and very smooth. Only suggestion I have is to include a black cardstock for swatches as well because the colors really look beautiful on a dark background.

This was a gift for my husband. I liked that there was a tutorial for a project that I thought he would enjoy trying. It is too early to say how good the experience will be, but he was thrilled with the Christmas present.
