Horrible smell and taste
Unfortunately, these vitamins have a horrible smell and taste. The taste lingers in my throat for hours afterwards. In my first trimester I could barely take them because they made me so nauseous. Even before/after that it has been a struggle to take them. If you are sensitive to smell and taste do not buy these! I actually wondered if they had gone bad but Needed doesn’t accept returns so I’m out $50.

Wanted to love. Can’t get past the smell.
I really love the contents of these prenatals. However I can’t get past the smell and taste. I could only get two pills down, and that’s all I tasted for the whole day. It honestly took a lot for me not to throw up after taking these. This is not a pregnancy symptom, as I’m just trying to conceive. Even my husband couldn’t handle the smell of these and left the room when I opened the container. I really appreciate the effort put into these prenatals. I just wish I could take them.

Prenatal Capsules
I personally prefer the pills over the powder simply because I had taste aversion in 1st Trimester of pregnancy and it didn't sit well with me. I'm a small person so taking all 8 at once was hard on my body and made me feel off because it is such high quality supplements. What works for me was taking 4 immediately after lunch and 4 after dinner. Then I took my pre and pro and omega 3s at dinner as well. That's typically a bigger meal so your body can process it better. We are at the end of pregnancy now and even though it's tedious taking so many pills a day, our baby is getting all the nutrients she needs so I can't complain. Other women will say "I only take 2 pills of prenatal" why take 8. Well, do the research yourself, compare the data and the facts. If you truly care about your baby's health and your own health, you will chose this product. I only say this because it's working wonderful for us! You have to take care of yourself and baby during pregnancy and it's hard to when you're going through all the changes of pregnancy. This will help ease your mental load of is my baby getting what she/ he needs.
