Great non-plastic dishwashing sponge

I've tried a few different brands of loofah-based dishwashing sponges as part of an effort to use less plastic. These are definitely the best of the bunch -sturdy and well put together and very effective for normal dishwashing. You may need a scraper or copper scrubber for very tough jobs, but these little sponges will handle nearly all your normal washing up.

Kitchen Staple

I love the quality of this sponge. At first I thought it was a bit expensive to pay $3.20 per 1 sponge (it is discounted with the subscription) but a scrub daddy is $5 for 1 sponge too, and the quality of this is superb compared to the cheaper options. I can pop it in the dishwasher and it's like brand new. It lasts long and there's no plastics and other chemical compounds in it, I can throw it in the compost when it's no longer usable (which is after a couple of months). It's a great investment in my opinion.
