Truly spectacular

They thought of all the little things that make this pair perfect. The fabric is so soft and comfortable. I appreciate the unique pouch. It feels like I'm not wearing anything as they support everything right where it needs. Love the color too. Can't wait to buy some more!

Vesuvius vs. Pinatubo

I have previously purchased all colors of the Pinatubo briefs. The Vesuvius briefs arrived at Krokatoa in a gray color. Looked similar to Pinatubo with the new color and a more decorative waste-band. Bought a pair and love some of the differences. (1) The seams are smoother and unnoticeable to the touch. (2) The back side holds underneath the buttocks very well and doesn’t slide up at all, that’s an improvement as well. However, while both have a horizontal fly, the Pinatubo has the lower portion of the fly overlapping the top portion which allows you to unzip and pull the fly open by moving the fingers down in one single motion. This is my personal preference. The Vesuvius has the top portion of the fly overlapping the bottom portion. Therefore once you unzip, you must then pull the top portion upwards before being able to grab the bottom portion of the fly hence then able to pull it down to do your business. Also creates a sense of a pinch point with stretchable fabric. Still much better than your standard side opening fly of other brands but the Pinatubo truly describes a quick draw fly. Nothing negative here, just maybe some advice for combining the 2 models to make the perfect pair. Hopefully you can get input from others as well, but thank you for your continued improvements.
