Really enjoying this Guitar
I’m a beginner in all aspects But have a few nice guitars ( more expensive). The Brooklyn has a great fit and feel , the action is nice. The sound is surprising it’s bright but not to bright. It has a unique sound to some of the other guitars I have played. Would recommend this guitar to any one
Has a buzz
Not sure about the “setup” as it has a significant buzz especially with strings 3 and 4 and all six pins were loose.
I can't believe this is a $300 guitar.
I'm simply speechless about this instrument. It is gorgeous, it sounds clean, clear and bright with plenty of rich wood but no boominess at all. It was delivered quickly with a PERFECT setup. I literally did nothing but tune it and start playing. The frets: perfect. Not a high spot or sprout or rough edge to be found. The neck: perfect. Intonation: perfect. Tuning keys: very, very good. Not perfect. They feel like the shaft to the key is a little thin for my taste. It's not rock solid like I like but I mean... ok, they're perfect. Flawless, just not to my taste. The wood: perfect. Not a scratch, ding, discoloration, high spot, low spot, nothing. Strings: perfect. I love a light-medium string. They were new, fresh and bright and only about a semitone out of tune from traveling (which is actually a good thing. You don't want a guitar in transit to be at full tension). Did I mention it came with a really nice little gig bag? I hadn't realized that. I was about to order one when it arrived and I got a super sweet little surprise. I'm assuming this wood was aged well and won't develop any problems down the line but for the price I have never received a finer instrument in my life. Bravo Orangewood. You've made a fan out of me, not just a customer.
