Best alarm clock I ever purchased. My phone and traditional alarm clocks are jarring, but this slowly wakes me up and allows me to start my day slowly.

I’m so grateful to not have to use my phone as an alarm clock anymore. It’s nice to be able to unplug before bed and have a normal wind-down routine. Life-changing — and I haven’t even had it a week!

Coming from an old Hatch Restore, I'm genuinely disappointed with the Loftie clock, it's a lot more plasticky, and a dust and fingerprint magnet with a very small display. The main selling point for me was the supposedly lots of free content to configure the alarm but that wasn't the reality I saw, they have very little free sounds and content, most of it is behind their subscription service. Finally they charge not only return shipping (which is already a yellow flag) but a 10% restocking fee which is a red flag. If you try to discourage people from returning through nickel and diming then that means you don't trust your product, and with good reason because it's definitely inferior. I'll just upgrade to a newer Hatch Restore 3 after this learned lesson, it's not perfect, but if I have to pay a subscription I'll do it for a better product.
