Great seed! Will order again.

I had great success with my sunflower microgreens crop. Only soaked the seed for 4 hours and it was perfect. No mold issues. Will order again!

First, so everyone understands, we regularly purchase 25 LB bags of 20 different seed varieties for our microgreens business and we have buying Black Oil Sunflower Seeds for 8 years. Until the past 6 months, we were pleased with the quality of the Black Oil Sunflower seeds purchased from True Leaf. This year, 2024, we have purchased these seeds at least 5-7 different times, all with different lot numbers, sometimes organic and some conventional since we had so many issues. Every bag has been well below average. The issues range from poor germination, mold and rotting seeds and stems about day 3-4. Used be thick, lush and easy to grow. Not anymore. They explain that they have had many issues and complaints. While that's understood and I know True Leaf is doing their best, the quality of these seeds is not fit to be sold to customers whether I'm a professional grower or an individual hoping to grow to eat sunflower shoots themselves.
