The device is fine. The mag strip is sold separately which is fine too but not being able to zip the case with it attached seems like an oversight. What's the point of the case if I can't zip it? The case comes with a loop that goes over it so maybe that was cheaper to add on than actually fix the design. Using that strap leaves the lens vulnerable to potential scratches because it doesn't close completely.
