Perfect for the active side sleeper!

The ResMed AirFit F30i Full Hybrid Complete System offers a compact and versatile CPAP mask solution with a unique design. It provides a very much appreciated under-the-nose seal, which can reduce discomfort and irritation, unlike the competition that causes pressure spots and redness due to its design flaws. The mask is designed for minimal contact and features adjustable headgear for a secure fit. I’m a very active side sleeper and this mask has allowed me to maintain a reliable seal with no leakage throughout the night.

Doesn't Hit the Mark for Me

Not every mask will be perfect for every person. But after having used the ResMed AirTouch F20 for a goodly number of years now, the F30i was disappointing for a few reasons: 1) No memory foam has become a deal breaker - it prevents facial sweating around the mask, prevents more leaks, and is much more comfortable overall than the silicone material of the F30i. 2) The nasal holes with the separation down the middle allowed one of only two nostrils to be covered at any given time if my head rolled to the side. 3) In order to get the mask to seal it has to be firmly tightened around one's head. With this mask, there is a pressure point just below the nose that pops the upper lip up and makes nose breathing more difficult for some reason. I woke up multiple times, over the nights that I used the mask, gasping for air. It's a claustrophobic experience anyway, wearing a cpap, so these issues really aggravated me and it's a waste of time, money, and resources to constantly be on the hunt for a better mask.
