Not for me

I had high hopes for this product, but alas, it's not going to work for me. For one thing, I was expecting it to be more of a tinted balm, but it's definitely a lipstick and has a thick, sticky consistency and strong smell that I don't care for. And neither of the two colors I tried looked on me the way I was hoping it would look. The Brick House shade in particular looked like "my" color on the website and in the tube, but on my lips it looks pink. Pink is definitely not my color. I'm going to stick with my current favorite lip color--Henne's Luxury Lip Tint in the shade Intrigue, which is a true brick red that looks fabulous on me, and the product is not thick or sticky.

the Color!

The color is exhiliarating! It's a red I can live with that really compliments my face. It's bright yet it's not overwhelming. I like the color and the feel of the balm. Good choice for me.

Goes on smoothly!

I did feel that for a product called "Jelly Balm" that it would feel a bit moister going on, but it does apply smoothly and evenly. It is very comfortable to wear! So far, I have only tried the Sheerly Amazing, so cannot speak to how long a brighter color might last.
