Love love love our Ember mugs! They work so well and keep coffee hot of hours on the heating plates! Perfect job!
I’ve only had this mug one month and I’ve been traveling for 2 weeks of that month. One charging prong is depressed and the mug won’t charge. I feel like this should be replaced. It is not my first ember and I’m very gentle when placing it on the charger plate. Please advise asap.
I really am torn on this product. The mug is very solid and it works really well keeping the drink warm. It's a pleasant surprise to take a sip an hour later and find your drink still warm. But an hour is about the longest you can wait with it not on the charging plate, before the battery dies. I just feel like the device could have used about twice as much battery life. So that said , you get longer life with keeping it on the recharging plate but it's a hassle and isn't an option if you are sat somewhere without a convenient outlet. Finally I think the desire to have a drink with an open top but that stays conveniently warm is such a novelty, it's really not worth the price tag for most people. A well insulated travel mug like a Yeti will get you the same result for a 1/5 the price. So on value for novelty, it rates a 3/5
