Poor fitting boots

I bought ski boots for $400 in September 2021 and skied with them the first time in January 2022 they caused bruising to my shins and were extremely painful and I had to rent boots for the rest of trip. I went back to sundance and they sold me the foot bed and I went skiing again and there is no improvement the boots don’t fit the shape of my leg. I have now invested $500 and have useless boots. I want to return them and I am willing to purchase something else but was told by staff that was not an option. I am very dissatisfied with the service at sundance
