exactly as hoped - a bit of narrative
so far so good and perfect for florida as i envisioned. the fit is excellent. pockets all as promised and in the right places. not sure about tools, however. i worry the thin fabric will catch on sharps and a screwdriver in a pocket working end down will probably poke a hole - contrast to carhartt pants. but, i’m used to thicker nearly-canvas pants. also, there’s very little stretchy fabric so not much protection. i’d also worry about rubbing up against steel or a tailgate or anything, for that matter, regularly. there is a clip knife protective spot in the right pocket - i might suggest a close by knife-specific pocket outside the main pocket. there’s a hidden zipper pocket adjacent to the right thigh pocket i didnt know about. i appreciate two zipper locations for money, thin wallet, car keys especially when working. that’s good stuff. the right hand pocket has a not-so-deep pocket that will fit only folded money and or small set of keys incl a fob.
