Propik review
the ProPik thumb pick is very well made, Construction is high quality. It's taking some time to get used to. I think the tone is better because of the stiffness, but I also like the flexability of a regular pick (Maybe I'm just used to it). I sometimes shave the regualr pick down to keep it from hitting the banjo head, and the propik is harder to do that with, so I have to change my thumb approach (maybe for the better overall?). The regular propik fits better, but the more expensive one is a specific size, so you can't really adapt it. The propik will definitely last way longer than the regular National pick I use. Overall- a top quality pick, but may be a small learning curve.
