Nice guitar, but not fully set up.

First of all, this is a fine guitar for the cost. Fit and finish are as good as thought costing much more. My only disappointment was with the nut. Despite what Orangewood says, the nut slots were far too high. I was able to lower the height significantly and improve the playability and intonation on the lowest three frets.But I have a complete set of nut files and have been working on guitars for years. Also, some frets were slightly rough and needed polishing. A couple of frets needed to be dressed to be level with their “neighbors”. Again, the guitar is a good value, but unless you have experience doing setups, you should probably add the cost of a professional setup into your budget.

When the guitar arrived. It was set up spot on and the strings were nice and bright. The mahogany body is gorgeous. I am very satisfied with my purchase

I can't speak for others but here's what I can tell you, I have owned/tried out many guitars in the 200 price range and let me tell you this is the best guitar I have ever played that actually had an awesome sound. I think this is the best inexpensive guitar out there on the market right now other people may have other opinions but for the money you can't go wrong with orangewood.
