Lifesaver as long as you follow these tips!

We have two French bulldogs and live in an apartment and having been using FP for almost a year! We love supplementing walks with the fresh patch. Our dogs are lazy and don’t particularly love walking so it’s a great option especially at night! I will advise that the rain will absolutely down your fresh patch and unearth bugs! So beware if you’re having a lot of rain to buy a tarp to keep it dry! The patch can also attract gnats if not clean so make sure to budget regular refills. When I first started on fresh patch I assumed “it’s just grass, I’ll keep it alive and won’t buy another one until it dies.” Nope! It’ll start to smell and it definitely needs a change MINIMUM 3-4 weeks. It’s a luxury, but a very useful one. Also, you super need the tray if you buy the XL! Honestly I would get the tray regardless of the size, but for sure for the XL!

My small (6lb.) & medium (35lb.) dog love this! Perfect for the balcony. My dogs use in the winter and I clean and replace as needed. Always fresh and lasts 3-4 weeks depending on use and size of dog.
