Better results with peony roots rather than lavender seeds

I got better results with the peony roots than I did with the lavender seeds. I planted the root in a pot early spring. It has grown very well. I'm hoping when I transplant it that it will thrive. My lavender never germinated 😔

Never sprouted

I planted this root in the fall and it never sprouted. Very disappointing
